Ernst Josef grew up in Italy and Austria, but has lived in Chicago for 6 years since 2018. EJ is an Analyst at Epsilon Economics, specializing in applying economic theory and econometric methods in the context of complex litigation consulting. EJ graduated in 2022 from the University of Chicago, majoring in Mathematics and Physics. He joined the Renaissance Associated Board in February 2024 because he believes in Renaissance’s mission to combat homelessness through supportive short- and long-term initiatives, and to tackle a major problem in a city that has since become a home to him.
