December reminded us why this work matters. Behind every statistic is a person rebuilding their life, supported by a community that refuses to look away.

A Home for Antwan
Just months ago, Antwan was living in a tent in a city park, facing extreme weather and daily uncertainty. After losing his job and falling behind on bills, homelessness became his reality for three years.
Today, Antwan lives in a safe, one-bedroom apartment in a quiet neighborhood. He’s focused on finding work and moving forward. His story is a reminder that stability makes progress possible.
Community Partners Stepping Up
Chicago winters are unforgiving. Thanks to longtime partners Typenex Medical and AAR Corporation, families and individuals served by Renaissance received winter clothing and holiday toys.
These partnerships go beyond seasonal giving. They provide dignity, warmth, and consistency when it’s needed most.

Why Support Matters Now
Shifts in federal policy are creating uncertainty around funding for street outreach and housing programs. The demand for services is rising at the same time resources are at risk.
Renaissance remains committed to ensuring people are not left without support, regardless of external changes. Community support makes that possible.
Stand With Us
Housing, outreach, and stability should not depend on political cycles. Together, we can protect essential services and ensure no one is left behind.
Support programs that help individuals and families secure housing and stability in Chicago.
